Ok, I'll leave it to you kiwis to sort it out. the engine looks to be ok, it's a pre 1973 with a round crank end. the boiler needs some work but is also a Stuart, either a 501 or 504. The pump is also Stuart. As a guide I sold a 504 boiler for $800, and an S50 of the same era for $450. Be a fun reno too

I think stuart boiler needs a new water gauge  because  there no nuts and glass and does  any one  know what  the thread type is.

I would not bother replacing the sight glass unit .
but rather I would just make new nuts  and cut a piece of glass tubing to length.

Henry, let me know if you're going to bid. If you don't I'll get Dennis to bid for me. Like to keep it in the family😎

According to the Stuart catalogue the number 9 engine can be driven by a Stuart 504 boiler [254mmx89mm] but only to turn it over. You would need a much bigger boiler to make a No9 do any work.
I drove my No9 with a 504 and a 500 pair of boilers and that worked well
