Or you could do,what I did with my midwest engine
I do not agree with silicon tube for steam.
So I used a copper line and control valve.
And cut a hole in the fire  box so I can  use a simple meths burner .

Cheers
Dennis

I've the Elliot Bay kit and the Midwest Heritage engine, there is no way I'll ever put it into a boat, having to lift the entire boiler over the burner is downright dangerous! (And I like the Heritage as a stand alone engine.)

thats also part of my thinking to have it permanently plumbed in as well as the boiler firmly bolted down
